UKIP leader Nigel Farage as King Kong, fighting of the tiny biplanes of the three main parties trying to knock him off his Empire State building ;like poll perch in the run up to the 2014 European Elections.

The meteoric rise to prominence of this party has sent shockwaves through Westminster and all three main parties taking a more euro-sceptic or at least euro-critical stance in response. Now seen as the party of protest many former Labour party voters are now expected to vote for them, even though they are ideologically to the right of the Conservative party and many suggest they are merely the far right wing of that party, there simply to promote a hard right agenda the Tories would never dare to promote directly and so effectively UKIP are merely an engine to drive the whole dialogue farther right and yet again move the 'centre' in that direction.
