The Conservative Government was elected with a majority in 2015 on a pledge to extend their austerity agenda and still insisting we are all in it together.


But after the revelation regarding David Cameron's links to offshore tax havens the tax affairs of Chancellor George Osborne have come under heavy scrutiny after it was claims were leveled that his family wallpaper business had paid no Corporation Tax for seven years, roughly coinciding with the dates he became responsible for the UK's financial affairs, including tax over-sight and policy development. Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn pointed at at PMQ's that under Cameron the government is cutting the effectiveness of HMRC by axing the number of tax investigators, leading many to suggest that rather than all of us are in it together - many of the wealthy are all in it together.
