Poll lead for Theresa May cartoon
The prime minister thanks her UK mainstream media and Labour party 'rebel' allies for helping her in the polls.
Since 2010 the Conservative led government has managed to double the national debt, create a drop of 10% in wages in real terms across the board, increase inequality to record levels and the second worst child poverty rates in the developed world and yet the party has a 12 point lead in the polls. This is surely thanks to much of the parliamentary Labour Party and almost the hole of the UK mainstream media constantly smearing Jeremy Corbyn since he became leader. We appear to have lost track in this country as to what democracy is and why it is important - because it stops one party politics, which in effect is dictatorship and yet Corbyn's detractors seem little concerned by this in their efforts to silence his alternative view.</p>
