With the volatility of the World's economy still a cause for concern the Pound is viewed as weak against the Euro and Dollar.
Creating all sorts of problems for Brits abroad who are paid in Pounds and also those wanting to travel abroad, or take a foreign holiday in the Eurozone or USA. This is of course good news for the UK domestic tourism industry and for exports too, but bad for the cost of imported goods.
